Living Things Color Book Mask Activities for Kids
This section contains color book masks of living creatures. Children may transform themselves into soaring eagles, ferocious tigers or cuddly Panda Bears with this collection of animal, bird and water creature facemasks. Most of these images are derived from completed animal theme images located on Scissorcraft.com.
Many of the butterfly and moth face-mask images are designed from photographs of actual species of Lepidoptera (butterflies).
Kids can go fish-faced with a pretty good collection of crabs, barracuda and savage shark masks, not to mention frogs, snails, sea shells and one icky spider on a web. Check out the bird brains for a squawk of a good time (I couldn't resist). Children can choose from such selections as Great Bald American Eagle, a basket of eggs on the head, kissing swans and some pretty cool Hoot owls, just to name a few. I'll bet you can't resist the bird's nest head or the Totem Pole facemask.
Color Book Living Creature Masks
Children can use their imaginations to crawl out of their skin, so to speak, and dawn the persona of a great bear or powerful tiger. Have an animal theme party for the next birthday boy or girl. You don't have to buy expensive costumes, have the children create costumes out of construction paper. Various shades of brown construction paper could make a fantastic paper bear costume. Let the imagination go. Accuracy is not an issue, if the kids are satisfied that the collection of yellow post-it-notes taped to a ream of patchwork quilt of colored green sheets of paper looks like a frog, who are you to judge. The kids will have a ball regardless.
Children can wear the masks and make them come to life with stories and song or use the masks as wall hanging decorations for parties and thematic events.
